The St. James Baptist Church Mother is an honor that is bestowed upon a woman who has been a faithful, dedicated, and longtime member of the congregation. Our church mother is held in the highest regard for the endurance of her faith, the blessing of long life and her wisdom in life experiences. The members of the St James Baptist Church honor our church mother with admiration and respect as well as looking to her for encouragement and guidance.
